Astrid's usual shift was well after everything that had happened that morning, especially since she had her own Friday class to attend, but when she got in to work as an actual paid employee, she got to hear all about whatever exploits may have happened from Apu.
She supposed it was kind of nice that he was actually talking to her for a change, and that the ire he was feeling wasn't directed at her like usual, and she supposed some of her usual tasks had already been done by the class, so she was fine with just getting a Squishy (the chocolate pudding one; she'd been...curious) and letting him vent. She got the feeling that he didn't really have many people who would actually listen to his venting around here.
