Warehouse District - Tuesday Afternoon

Miles had returned to the warehouse area of Fandom to finish up his mural on one of the buildings. He had been initially reluctant to do so but with the weather turning cold, he figured now was the time to get his work done before it began to slow and he had to go home for winter break.

So with the chill in the air and a shake of his paint can he went to work.

It had taken a bit of research but after getting a somewhat silly assignment from Diaz, Jessica had finally found a good resource of information.

And a good idea where to find him.

"You sure you should be painting a wall around here?" she asked in a stern voice.

Honestly she didn't give a shit what the kid was doing. But he had information she wanted.

Miles spider sense should have signaled him of danger... then again just getting harassed by a PI didn't count. Maybe? Who knows.

Anyhow, Miles jumped a bit and looked down at the paint can in his hand back to the woman who was... really intimidating.

"Uh. I mean... a lot of art is already up?"

He didn't meant to make that sound like a question but then again he really didn't check the laws around here.

"Mmm-hmm. So because everyone else does it, it's okay?"

Did that sound mom-ish? Definitely sounded like a mom. Jessica maintained the glare. Clearly this kid was jumpy. That's where she wanted him.

"Uh. Maybe? Look. I don't want any trouble. I just wanted to paint," he said stumbling over the words. "Are you a cop?"

"No. But I don't need to be," Jessica said taking a menacing step forward. "Look kid. I don't want to get you in trouble. I just need you to do one thing for me... Tell me everything you know about Miguel O'Hara."

"... Wait. What?"

"You heard me. Spill," she growled.

And he spilled. Spilled it all out. All the little details she wanted and then some more.

Including the fact that Mr. O'Hara was dating a certain Rosa Diaz.

Well. This should be fun.

"Thanks kid," she said when she had everything she needed and turned on her hell to walk away.

Miles stood there dumbfounded for a moment and then returned to his wall.

"That was really weird."
