Diaz & Ass., Monday [12/28].

Rosa's holiday had been extremely handwavey, which was precisely how she liked it, and she was just going to enjoy the fact that this meant probably not getting bothered by her family for stuff until at least Easter. Maybe a little optimistic, in the long run, but she'll take it.

And things were pretty quiet in the office when she got in that morning, as she pretty much expected. By the time the afternoon rolled around, though, she actually got a call for a potential case from the last place she would have expected it.

Bee Lady.

Who was apparently all up in arms because it appeared that Turtle & Canary had started to sell some sort of independant brand of honey, which she felt was a threat to her own brand, despite the fact that she didn't even sell the honey from her bees. But her concerns were in the idea that she might want to, and clearly something was amiss, and she would like to hire Diaz & Ass to investigate because the whole thing seemed incredibly suspicious.

So Rosa closed up the office long enough to go over to Turtle & Canary and intirrogate Smith, which didn't take long at all, and then reported back to the Bee Lady that it was just the honey Smith's father made in his spare time that she was helping him promote, which lead to a whole rant about nepotism and FDA regulations and cross-dimensional trade tariffs and so many other things that Rosa was pretty sure her eyes were going to roll out of her head.

But she assured Bee Lady they'd look into this 'business' more deeply, hung up, and considered just passing all that regulation bullshit down the pipe to Jones, because look at her, being a boss and delegating. That's what bosses did, right? Foist annoying technical stuff that they didn't want to deal with to underlings and call it delegating?

She was also just considering not doing any of that, and just telling Bee Lady they looked into it and everything checked, so she could just chill out, but she wasn't quite sure that would fly.

Then again, in her past experience, Bee Lady did just sort of conveniently tend to forget about these issues she brought up within a couple of days or so, too.

Either way, Diaz & Ass. is open!
