Rey's warehouse- Friday afternoon

Last night had been fantastic, and it'd actually been very hard for Rey to actually get herself to the warehouse today. Which was extremely rare! She also figured that in itself might be a sign that it was a meditation day, just to refocus a bit.

So if you were looking for Rey, she'd be sitting in the middle of the floor with her eyes closed, and luckily nothing was throwing anything at her.

And Rey, for her part, tried to slam him back as hard and as fast possible.

In case it wasn't clear, she was not a fan of this exercise.

Anakin knew, but he also knew how the Dark Side worked and she needed to be prepared.

If it helped at all, he hated teaching it just as much?

"Good," he murmured, trying a different approach. "You've gotten better."

"I think I'm just more tense about it," she admitted, which was why those walls weren't coming down even a little.

"If I did this to you when you weren't prepared for it, would you still react like this?" Anakin asked.

"I feel like answering that question is a good way to get hit with a sneak attack," Rey said.

Rey was very wise.

"Maybe," Anakin said.

Rey had trust issues that came out every once in a while.

"I don't know," she said honestly.

"We can work on that a bit later," Anakin said. "These barriers need to be like breathing--something you don't think about."

"I know. It just... takes some getting used to," she said.

"Oh, it definitely does," Anakin agreed, still poking at her defenses. "Best to be prepared."

"Who knows when I'll next run into a Snoke wannabe," she said wryly, shoving at him.

"There's always another one waiting," Anakin agreed, rolling his eyes as he pushed back against her attack.
