Yesterday had been filled with shopping, sales, and snark, so Summer was not only rocking that adorable turquoise sweater that could simply not be left behind that day, but she was also in a pretty good mood as she went about the usual tasks around the store and felt incredibly grateful that nothing was happening to threaten said new cute sweater.
Because she knew this place. And she honestly half expected that there would be some sort of Squishy machine malfunction or otherwise wardrobe-destroying crisis that would occur purely out of spite.
She seemed to be pretty lucky that day, though, which definitely ticked up a little bit of paranoia about why nothing was happening yet, and therefor sort of waiting for the other shoe to drop, but she was also willing to just embrace it while she could, too.
