Annie had strongly considered playing with the blender again today, but given that it was, you know, mid-January, she thought that hot chocolate might be a touch more appropriate.

So Annie mixed up a batch of Kahlua hot cocoa, and even went digging until she found not only chocolate syrup and whipped cream to add, but also mini marshmallows (she wasn't questioning it, though she was curious if there were other drinks that called for little marshmallows and she just didn't know it yet.)

She poured herself a cup and liberally dressed it up, and would be nursing that for the rest of the night - even as she periodically illuminated a palm to keep the whole carafe warm.
