The Devil's Nest, Tuesday Night

"So the entire island appears to have gone daiquiri-crazy last week, except you went full margarita," Lucifer mused. "What's next?"

Tiny looked at him.

He looked back.

Tiny looked at him some more.

He looked back longer.

"Right," Lucifer said, "Caipirinha night it is, why not?"

He was going to get behind the piano and find something tropical but classy to play tonight.

When Jessica walked into the Devil's Nest, Tiny held up... whatever that was. Jessica stared him down until Tiny put the drink away and put a glass of cheap bourbon in front of her.

"I don't get the attraction of mixed drinks," she complained to Lucifer. "Or why bartenders seem intent on making me drink them."

"Mister Morningstar," Jessica replied with a nod and a raised glass that soon went to her lips. "What's new with you?"

"Pretty routine actually," Jessica replied. "I think the highlight of the last few weeks was doing a background check on someone and Rosa handing off the missing bee case to a juvenile."

She paused for a moment.

"Which is weird because I'm pretty sure they don't live past a month."

"Yeah. And I can't believe I just wasted ten seconds of my life discussing it," Jessica said with a scoff.

"She was bored enough to give it to a teenager detective," Jessica said rolling her eyes. "Who should probably know at this point that the bee is dead."
