Diego was going on his first ever vacation and he was spending today making sure the troopers could handle things while everyone was gone. Mostly this included notes on how much running they should be doing and how to break into Danny's desk for snacks.

It was a productive day.

"I'll take it," Annie decided, recognizing a potential victory when she saw one.

She paused. "A Hawaiian shirt with colors." Trust Diego to find the only all black-on-black Hawaiian shirt in existence.

Diego sighed. "Oh fine. One with colors. You can pick it out."

"Are you sure?" Annie had to check. "No take-backs on that. It might be bright."

Like, she'd be merciful, because the goal here was not to put him in something embarrasing, but like, it might feature warm tones.

"Whatever you want," he said. "No complaining, I promise."

"That's a lot of trust to put in me. I promise I'll go easy on you," Annie noted, looking touched. "And just for that, I promise I'll take the cover-up thing off at some point."

She would probably want to go swimming anyway. And it really was still a fairly conservative bikini, as far as these things went.
