Rey's warehouse- Tuesday morning

That last training before the trip had gone differently than Rey would have liked. In fact, it had freaked her out quite a bit. The trip itself had given her an excuse to back away from training for a bit, and then once they were all back... then what?

Apparently "then what" meant thinking too hard about conversations she'd had, and then ultimately deciding she had to get back to it. So she messed up. The answer didn't feel like avoidance, she just had to be good.

This morning saw Rey back in the warehouse, tackling the obstacle course again. And really, it felt right to be doing this again.

Anakin was in no way fleeing from a tiny Yoda, how dare you think such a thing. He was just here, slightly out of breath and looking over his shoulder.

Very normal.

Rey felt when he arrived, but she waited till she was at a natural stopping point to do so.

"Everything all right?" she called down.

"Sure!" Anakin called back. "There's a Mando bounty hunter on the island now, but I don't think he's trying to kill me!"

"...That's good?" she said, still tilting her head at him.

[sith_happened]

Anakin shrugged. "It's not like there wouldn't be reasons for people to have me killed."

[thatwaslucky]

"So if he's not trying to kill you, why are you looking over your shoulder?" Rey wondered, coming down.

[sith_happened]

"He had a companion," Anakin said cagily.

[thatwaslucky]

"Is the companion trying to kill you?" Rey asked.

[sith_happened]

The companion was a foot and a half tall.

"It's possible."

[thatwaslucky]

"Who is it?" she asked, frowning.

[sith_happened]

"Short, green, looks like Master Yoda but smaller?" Anakin said.

[thatwaslucky]

"I don't actually know what Master Yoda looked like," Rey admitted.

[sith_happened]

"Like a giant sentient turtle-frog?" Anakin tried. "But only about a meter tall."

[thatwaslucky]

Rey blinked. "And you're worried about them?"

Maybe they were a good shot!

[sith_happened]

"Yoda was extremely powerful," Anakin said.

[thatwaslucky]

"But he was a Jedi," Rey said.

Size matters not, yes, she knew.

"This one's Force sensitive too," Anakin said.

This was a lot of build up for tiny ickle not-Yoda.

[thatwaslucky]

"Oh." Okay, that was maybe an issue. "But I'm sure you could take them if they were trying to kill you."

When Rey found out who they were talking about...

[sith_happened]

She would really, really wonder about Anakin's sanity, huh?

"I hope so but I'm not taking the chance just yet," Anakin said. "So. How's the obstacle course?"

"Same as we left it," she said. "I decided to do a few runs."

[sith_happened]

"Need me to turn on the remotes?" he asked, grinning.

[thatwaslucky]

She wanted to get back in the swing of it, right? "Yeah," she decided. "Why not?"

Look at her, not even complaining about the remotes.

[sith_happened]

"Good," Anakin, looking very pleased. "And I can make it snow."

Anakin, no.

[thatwaslucky]

That at least for a bit of a face out of her. "I suppose."

Guys, it was still like freezing outside.

[sith_happened]

"It'll be fun!"

For Anakin. It would be fun only for Anakin.
