Rey's warehouse- Friday afternoon

Rey always felt better after a trip home, and since getting back for yesterday she'd been trying to catch up on training she felt she'd missed. Which was ridiculous, since no one was really judging that except for her and she'd trained there anyway. She'd worked on forms, looked at holocron files, gotten to one certain green person that left her with some Questions for Anakin...

But for now she was running the course, lightsaber out, with remotes on her tail. While she wasn't comparing it to the one Luke had built, she was finding the tightrope portion much easier after the threat of grievous injury on his.

Anakin poked his head into the warehouse. "Hello?"

"Yeah," Rey called, though it was pretty easy to hear the sounds coming from the course.

"Welcome back," Anakin said, smiling.

[thatwaslucky]

"Thanks," she said, coming to a spot where she shut down the lightsaber and could easily jump off the course. Because she just did stuff like that. "I got called in for a mission."

"All limbs intact?"

That was still not a normal question, Anakin.

Rey paused, because the amputee boyfriend had been there.

"All the limbs that were there when we arrived, yes," she said. "Poe wanted me to start learning the ropes more. I didn't know that when we got there."

"What did Poe have in mind?" Anakin asked.

[thatwaslucky]

"A rescue mission. The First Order has been imprisoning some of our allies, so I got to go and help break them out," she said. "I would have liked to have warned John about that."

Anakin winced slightly. "I can see that being...not exactly what Silver had in mind."

"He's very good at rolling with things," Rey said with a touch of pride.

"That is an excellent trait in a partner," Anakin said.

[thatwaslucky]

"He's been fantastic about all of this," she admitted. "It can be a lot."

Between a war and sharing a bond with the bad guy.... she'd kind of lucked out.

"Oh, I know. Our galaxy is...non-stop."

He didn't entirely regret being in self-imposed exile.

"It really is," Rey said with a sigh. "Speaking of which, would it be all right if I showed him the flight shed sometime? Just to get him used to things."

"Of course," Anakin said. "I'll give you the code."

"Thank you," Rey said, smiling. "I just don't want him to get blindsided in a bad situation."

"I absolutely understand," Anakin said. "Better to crash the fake Falcon than the real one."

[thatwaslucky]

"No one flies the Falcon except me and Chewie," Rey said, so fast. Just so, so fast.

She hadn't even given Poe the okay yet.

Anakin chuckled. "Not even Leia?"

"She's never asked. She usually calls me in to do the flying." Because Leia wanted to check in.

"I'm sure she can fly, though," Anakin said. "It's in the blood."

[thatwaslucky]

"I'm sure," Rey agreed. "And I can't see her being unprepared by not knowing how to fly the ship she's practically lived on at times."

Anakin nodded. "Oh, absolutely."

"She showed me a little bit of Ajan Kloss that I didn't get a chance to see before," she said.

"Was it still jungle?" Anakin teased.
