Devil's Nest | Monday Night
Annie was clearly distracted as she took her place behind the bar tonight. As a means to avoid the temptation to drink at work -- even something as innocuous as a Shirley Temple (the sugar) -- Annie had brought a tall tumbler of some kind of green juice to sip on. Granted, mostly she was just sort of annoyed about it, rather than, like, basking in her newfound health benefits, but it was probably a better choice than the beer she really wanted.
She was also trying to be a little more active tonight, even through her distraction, and kept finding reasons to go look in cabinets and pace around and basically just annoy the utter shit out of Tiny. Part of it was that she actually felt compelled to hit her step count today; part of it was that she was, honestly, just kind of anxious and trying to burn it off a little.
The Devil's Nest was open, even if the bartender was busy with her phone and her juice and her nerves.

Being from, like, twenty-first century Iowa and all.

But hipsters loved her!
"Knives and daggers definitely make up a big bulk of my work around here," she added thoughtfully, "and a personalized set makes for a great gift! That, and axes." She hitched a thumb over her shoulder toward the face range. "I've supplied quite of the few of the ones you've all got here. Might have a look at 'em later, see how they're holding up."
Considering she knew her work was solid, they would probably be fiiiiine, buuuut....
Re: Bar | 3/22
Did she shoot Tiny a little look there? Maybe.
Re: Bar | 3/22
"Not a bad way to get some of that aggression out," she agreed. "Mich safer for other people....and doors. Glad to hear they've been working out, though! A good, well-balanced throwing axe is a fine art indeed, if I may say so myself."
