The Park [sunset]
It had been a weird odd possibly traumatizing fun weekend, but the portal had opened back up in the park.
Sorry, kids. Grab one last snack and head back to your home dimensions. It's time to say goodbye.
[OOC: For all the SP, of course!]

"Told you it would be here," Danielle said giving her mother a smirk.

Was she giving the kid a compliment? Possibly. And irritated compliment.
"Is it safe?"
Oh. Look. She wasn't completely lacking in maternal instincts.

"Come here," she said pulling Jessica down and pulling out her phone. "Let's take a selfie."

"Don't worry. I know better than to ask you to smile," she said after taking a few pictures.

Octavia had survived the weekend, minding this impossible kid all by herself. She thought there should have been some relief in that thought, in the knowledge that this was going to be over in a moment. Hope would go back to her mom and her Aunty O on their weird little planet somewhere, and everything would go back to how it was supposed to be.
But she didn't feel that. Didn't really feel much at all.
(That was a lie she was telling herself.)
But she was crouched down at Hope's level, trying for a small smile. "No more random portals 'less your mom says it's okay, right?"

A beat.
"Not even one that looks like it goes here? I like it here with you, Aunty O."
no subject
"But you like being home, too, right? On... Skyring?"

Nope, no hug, no goodbye. Get a move on, kiddo.

Though the kid had kinda grown on her, a bit. She liked how she could see herself in her, in odd little ways.

Her other mother hardly ever hugged her. It might be nice.

Hey, the version of her that had had a kid with Spike probably deserved a bad kid, if she was making choices like that.

Said impossible children were holding his hands tightly as they approached the portal. They both knew similar enough versions of their father to recognize when he needed his hand held.

Maybe Dad needed a hug from Dad too. Sometimes that helped!

He was just going to hug this small impossible person very tightly for a moment. Maybe longer than a moment.

"C'mon, Kit, time to go home."
no subject
She wanted to go home to her moms, but now that it was time to, she also wanted to visit her other other mom too.

"I'm sure your moms are missing you." They'd better be, after how stressed Adora'd been this weekend.
no subject
She clambered into Adora's lap. "Love you, Mom."
