Well, it was another Thursday, which meant Leather Pants and Sometimes Shirtlessness Night at the Devil's Nest. It was weirdly chilly for the shirtlessness, but perfect leather pants weather.

Eric had his on while he sipped from his glass of Tru Blood and watched the crowd around him as Tiny served drinks.

"Well, for me everyone under 45 is practically an infant," Eric teased.

She made zero move to do so.

"The seats are comfortable, aren't they?" Eric agreed, smirking.

"More comfortable than they'd probably be it I was wearing leather pants," Jaye agreed.

"I don't know," Eric said, standing up and turning around so Jaye could get a good look at his ass pants, "if you have the right fit, they're very comfortable."

"I mean that's not a bad fit," she had to admit.

Again, she had eyes.

"Well, I've had a few years to get it right," Eric said.

"Also genetics," Jaye agreed.

"So how long do you think this leather pants thing is going to last?"

Aka for how long was she going to be a regular?

"Oh, probably until it gets too hot to want to wear them," Eric said. "Then we'll go shirtless."

So classy.

"Summer is coming up soon, you don't want to overhear," she agreed.

"Plus there's chafing and whining about chafing," Eric said.

"Not talk you want from hot guys at your bar," Jaye said. "Might as well just keep them in as little as possible."

The girl who used to cheer shirtless welcome picnics never really left.

"Exactly," Eric said, beaming at her. "I think it's a successful marketing scheme."

"I mean, it brought me in," Jaye said. "Pat yourself on the back."

"I will once you have a drink in your hand."

"Beer me," Jaye said. "Or have a Tiny beer me."

"Tiny!" Steve called. "Beer her."

"Thank you. And now the pat on the back," she said.

Eric patted himself on the back, giving her a little smirk. "Happy now?"
