Devil's Nest, Thursday Night, April 22, 2021

Well, it was another Thursday, which meant Leather Pants and Sometimes Shirtlessness Night at the Devil's Nest. It was weirdly chilly for the shirtlessness, but perfect leather pants weather.

Eric had his on while he sipped from his glass of Tru Blood and watched the crowd around him as Tiny served drinks.

The Devil's Nest was open, and the place to be if you enjoyed staring at people's butts.

"Not yet," Eric said, "so I'm guessing that's a good sign."

"You going to fill her spot?" Jessica asked. "Because Tiny apparently likes EDM and I can't handle that on Mondays. Well... Any day really."

"Not yet," Eric said with a little shrug, "but I'll talk to Tiny about the music."

He raised his voice. "Tiny! Have less shitty taste in music or I'll bring back the DJs!"

"Can I have permission to throw an axe at him if he does it again?" Jessica asked in a flat tone that made it difficult to tell if she was being sarcastic or actually wanted to throw an axe at Tiny.

"That seems completely reasonable to me," Eric said, nodding. "How's your aim?"

There was a slow head turn as Jessica leveled a look at Tiny.

"I guess we'll find out."

"I'm not entirely sure he's human," Eric confessed.

That earned Eric a scoff of amusement. “Who the fuck really is human on this island? We’re all freaks.”

"I am not a freak," Eric said airily. "I am amazing."

"Well, the leather pants leave little to the imagination," Jessica said in agreement.
