It was honestly kind of impressive that Faye hadn't tried to sleep at work before.
But she'd had a big week last week, what with stowing away and learning all about how bad stormtroopers were at shooting people, and...look, Faye didn't really need an excuse to take a nap at work, but if anyone asked, she was still tired.
And yes, the meditation room would be a better spot for a nap, but sitting up here at the front with her sunglasses on provided an amazing cover for the moment. The pillow she'd grabbed might have slightly ruined the convincing effect, but still.

Seivarden wasn't here for either weapons or meditation, she had just happened to walk past and see Faye, and she had seen people try not to let it show they were nodding off at work before.

"...oh, hi," she said, realizing it was just Seivarden, and sighed, trying to parse what it was that had been said to wake her up. "Ummmmmmmmmmmm...yes, I was meditating."
Fact: she had not been.

Sometimes even in a room with just one bed for seven people, even.

Seivarden raised an eyebrow, smirking.

Like, Seivarden, you handed that to her.

"So, late night last night?"
She wasn't going to keep pretending to believe that had been meditation.

Jet lag wasn't exactly a thing, where Faye was from, but it still always took her a little bit to get back into what passed for her routine after she went planet-hopping.

Faye didn't believe in catching up via radio when there were people around to talk to. Pff.

The kid had been given plastic drink swords and cherries.

And she'd tried! She'd spent multiple days hanging around the guy, even.

Seivarden wasn't sure she believed this.

It was called a fresher in Star Wars, Faye.
"But not where I could see, no."
