Lecter Counseling, Friday
Hannibal was discovering that after largely leaving his practice for a year or so, certain things needed taking care of. His patients had been happy with their other accommodations or virtual visits, his plants had been watered and the place dusted regularly by housekeepers, he'd made sure the tea and coffee were fresh last week...now there was paperwork.
There was always paperwork.
He had a pile.
He was eyeing it sourly between patients and wondering how much needed to be filled out and how much could be set on fire or fed to the flamingos. Maybe he should get more proactive about hiring a secretary.
For now, though, he simply hung the classy brass "Open" sign under his plaque on the gate and sat down to drink coffee and sort things.
[open post for therapy, job hunters, or just dropping in!]
