It was apparently Cousteau Day today, which was why there was a special going on all swimwear, swim gear, and red hats, and why Astrid was spending most of her shift helping to add to the decor in the store, which was going for a whole underwater vibe, with balloons hanging from the ceiling to look like bubbles and streamers meant to be seaweed, and she was going to be painting a whole bunch of old boxes to look like coral and fish.

There were definitely worse ways to spend a Friday. Though she did sort of wonder why Apu went through all the trouble when it was just going to be something entirely different tomorrow.
