It was rare that Astrid would come into work, get herself settled behind the register, and find a note from Kyōraku-san with some instructions, but there it was, in his heart-covered script, with instructions and a small haiku about golden hair and sunlight. She tilted her head with interest, not really so much for the poem, which was pretty bad anyway, but just because it was sort of an unusual task, but also something that might be kind of fun, so she just shrugged and went to go get a few buckets, a few packets of dye, a pair of rubber gloves, and a bunch of mopheads and got to work.

If the boss man wanted a bunch of colorful mopheads, Astrid wasn't about to ask questions, but she was going to make some of the most beautifully ombre'd mopheads she could manage to create.

This was almost inspiring her for a new project of her own...

...but the best part of it was that whenever Apu would complain or give her withering looks for not helping with shelving new products or sweeping the floor or fixing the displays the cheese panda had broken, all she had to do was lift up the Post-It note with her instructions for the day, because, hey, she was doing her job right now, thank you very much. He could take it up with Shunsui if he had an issue.

Well. Take it up with Summer, really, but her birthday party was this weekend, so good luck getting her to even care, Apu!
