Rey's warehouse- Friday afternoon

Rey was in for a busy weekend, and since there was a spa involved later she kind of felt like she should go harder in training. Give them something to do there, maybe.

So she got there early, ran the course, and then set up all the remotes she could find to use while she blindfolded herself and got out her lightsaber to fight against them. Surely a spa had something to make it better when she inevitably got shot at some point, right?

Anakin poked his head in, covered in mud and paint. "Give me twenty to get home and shower!" he yelled.

Apparently a text wouldn't do!

"Did you win?" Rey called back.

[sith_happened]

"Not even a little!" Anakin replied.

[thatwaslucky]

"Next time!" she said. "Go clean up!"

[sith_happened]

Anakin came back fifteen minutes later with damp hair and a clean set of robes. "Better. I'll get Stark back."

By now Rey had the blindfold off and was stretching her arms out from what she'd just done to the remotes.

"I see the rivalry lives on."

[sith_happened]

"He started it!"

Stark had not.

"But it makes for an interesting class."

[thatwaslucky]

"Meaning you're having fun?" Rey checked.

[sith_happened]

"Yes," Anakin said. "You can't win all the time. It's a good lesson."

[thatwaslucky]

"And there's always a next week." At least that's what she kept saying to him.

[sith_happened]

"At least in games, yes," Anakin agreed. "Real life is rather more fraught."

[thatwaslucky]

"And you generally don't want to shoot anyone with paint in real life, probably," Rey said, and checked, "Right?"

[sith_happened]

"Never say never, but yes," Anakin said.

[thatwaslucky]

"It's something," she decided. "How are you doing this week?"

[sith_happened]

"Now that I am not covered in paint, much better," Anakin said. "Juliet called from Hapes and is having a good time. She's still terrible at the obstacle course."

[thatwaslucky]

Rey smiled. "She's young. It takes time. Tell her I said hi."

[sith_happened]

"I will," Anakin said, smiling back. "She'll be fine at the course by the end of the summer, and it's good to be challenged."

[thatwaslucky]

"Exactly. Have you ever had her try this one?" Rey asked.

[sith_happened]

Anakin nodded. "Before I modified it to make it harder," he said. "She fell into the quicksand and was very disgruntled with me."

[thatwaslucky]

"Oh no. If it helps, Annie didn't like falling into the quicksand either," Rey said, trying not to smile.

[sith_happened]

"I'll be sure to tell Juliet," Anakin said, laughing. "It'll make her feel better."

[thatwaslucky]

"It got me once too, that weekend I lost telekinesis," she admitted. "But that was my own fault, and Annie's reaction was much better."

[sith_happened]

"What did she do?" Anakin asid.

[thatwaslucky]

"She needed me to levitate her out," she said. "I did feel bad!"

But it was also kind of funny, SORRY ANNIE.

Anakin clearly did not feel that bad because he burst out laughing. A lot.
