Diaz & Associates; Monday [08/09].
There were many benefits to owning one's own business, and one of those, for Rosa, just may have involved using her entire Monday to just watch through the entire Kickpuncher catalogue on her laptop at her desk.
And if anyone asked, as a matter of fact, yes, it was research for a case, and no, she was not going to expain how, it was top secret and classified.
Diaz & Ass. is open!

"Just wanted to come by and let you and Miguel know, might be a little more noisy next door than usual. Got a project I'm working on for someone so will be a bit busy this week. Don't expect it to be too bad but wanted to give you guys a head's up."
Dwight walked in a little farther and held his hands up. "Got a Jug of Gourmet Coffee and Freshly Made Cookies. Consider them a peace offering?"

Guess they'd find out! Because that's what Rosa was doing, and all she was doing, until he finished, and that's when her eyes went to the coffee and cookies.
Then back to Dwight.
Ugh. This far into it, she figured Tightpants making friends would be enough to avoid something like this.
"Did you poison them?"
She didn't think he poisoned them, but she almost wished he had, that would at least be interesting and might earn him some points.

"Guess we'll find out," she said. "You can go ahead and leave it there."

He paused a moment and looked back at Rosa for a moment.
"I'll let you get back to... whatever it is you are watching..."

If anyone thought Rosa was scary in flesh and blood, just imagine....
And then concluded (she hoped) the interaction by just turning back to her screen, and pushing play, to answer Dwight's departure with the persistent sound of a thousand punches with the power of kicks.
