Was it too hot for leather pants? Probably. Was Eric going to switch to leather shorts? Or course not, that's tacky. But he had forgone his shirt for the evening, and so he was lounging in leather pants with the AC cranked up as Tiny put the sign up on the bar.

SHIRTLESS THURSDAYS ARE BACK. GET DRUNK AND MAKE POOR CHOICES.

Hard to argue with that, right?

Jaye saw the sign and turned in immediately.

"I was called," she said.

Eric smirked at her. "Hello."

"You do know it's about a million degrees, right?" Jaye checked, taking a seat.

"That's why I cranked the air conditioning," Eric said.

"What if the top of you gets cold then?" Jaye asked. "You can't put a shirt back on, that's against the law."

"Well, I'm a Viking," Eric said, "so that's someone else's problem. I won't get cold."

"Good enough. And if I get cold I'll just drink more,"

Healthy choices from a 24-year-old.

"That is an excellent choice," Eric said like a liar. "What can I get Tiny to get you?"

"What do you think, shots or girly drinks for shirtless leather night?" she asked.

"How about a girly shot?" Eric asked.

"Yes. Girly shot," Jaye agreed.

"So...Purple Hooter or something more classy?" Eric teased.

"A Purple Hooter is exactly how classy I am," Jaye told him. "I'll have two."

"Having two purple hooters is a condition I'd see a doctor about," Eric teased.
