The Devil's Nest, Tuesday Night
"What on Earth has Eric done to the bar?!"
Lucifer stared at the massive axe range in absolute horror. And then the rafters. And the piano space. And the bar.
This was going to cost so much time and effort to fix.
He strolled towards the bar with big bloody steps, hisrepressive zen of the past few days immediately forgotten as he reached for his phone. "I'm going to get an interior decor-- call incoming?"
He lifted the phone to his ear. "... Linda?"
"Lucifer, why the Hell am I in Baltimore?!"
It was going to be a night.

And for once she brought her own booze. Specifically the bottle of very good whiskey that Lucifer had given her months ago.
She grabbed two glasses from the bar (probably earning a glare from Tiny) and started pouring out a good measure for both herself and Lucifer.
"Heard you were back. Figured you might like a drink," she said in greeting.
Because "Hello" and other pleasantries were for other people.

His club, Lucifer. His club.

She added more whiskey to his glass and pushed it towards him. "Here. It's the good stuff and not my usual paint stripper."

Give him a second, he'd remember he'd missed her.

"Hell hath no fury like the actual devil being scorned?" Jessica offered as she sipped her own drink and made a face.
"This tastes too good."

He looked up at her and blinked, like he'd only just realized who it was. "... and long time no see, Miss Jones."

Wait.
"Did you say possibly God?"

She had none.
She pushed the bottle towards Lucifer and signaled Tiny for her usual. "I think you need this more than me and I think I need my usual for this conversation."

He hadn't even checked in on Los Angeles yet. But since no one from LA - bar Linda, who wasn't in LA, and Amenadiel and Charlie, who also weren't - had called him so far, he had a feeling he knew what had happened.

"It's bright and airy--" and kind of Viking-adjacent, go figure--"and has plenty of space for people with weapons to not hit anyone other than their dumb selves," Eric countered. "And it still has a piano."
Tucked into a corner. In the dark. Because Eric was petty.

Luckily Lucifer had one on speed dial!
... in LA.

Who was also a vampire, so.

But that wouldn't have gone with an axe range.
