Caritas; Wednesday [09/01].
So yesterday's Chaos Drink event had clearly been a success, leaving Tino with plenty of clean up to do both last night and for today's shift, especially since it appeared as though Summer was running late. But, well, duh, of coure she was, she was a Bad Bitch and Bad Bitches didn't do punctuality.
But eventually Summer did show up, announced by the superflous glow of a pink portal that she emerged from, unflurling her wings (which were about as pink and glittery as you'd expect them to be) and heading toward the bar, stopping to give Tino a look when he seemed about ready to make a comment about the portal.
"What?" Summer asked with a scoff and a toss of her ponytail. "You think I'd ever just use doors? Get real, Teen."
Because that was his name now. Teen. Tino just had too many syllables to bother with.
Either way, if yesterday wasn't enough work for him, he now had to deal with Summer being absolutely oblvious to how to use space behind the bar with those wings, because they were still new, she didn't even know how to fly with them yet, and she was definitely accidententally hitting a lot of things with them, not even noticing how many near-crashes there had been if Tino hadn't actually been on the ball in catching them.
She probably would have ignored it, anyway.

The Stage - 09/01.
Or just sing because it's fun!
Re: The Stage - 09/01.
So he'd put on at least a tank top and a pair of short shorts and headed into town to treat everyone to a dose of his beautiful voice with a double whammy of Adele songs that would definitely give the actual Adele a run for her money.
Re: The Stage - 09/01.
To Adele.
Like people do.
"Wooooo!"
The Bar - 09/01.
(Tino might also be wearing pink; Summer obviously does not care enough to notice and is certain she wears it better anyway).
Re: The Bar - 09/01.
"I guess the champagne and red bull?" he asked, because that also sounded good, but... "Unless...Summer. Summer. Can't you turn up the AC in here or something? I. Am. Melting over here!"
Was this what Gladio felt like all the time? Is that why he never seemed to wear a shirt??
(No, no. Those leather pants proved that it wasn't a heat thing, it was an allergic to shirts thing, for sure).
Re: The Bar - 09/01.
Because she was definitely appreciating the view. And, sure, Prompto was a former student and she had a boyfriend, but she was definitely feeling loose enough in her morals to not care at all
Re: The Bar - 09/01.
He also still happened to be without shoes but so far wasn’t showing any signs of discomfort from not wearing any.
“I’ll have a ………………..whiskey, please.” he decided dramatically. It was also really the only drink that he knew, Doc had been working on introducing to him to different drinks but so far they hadn’t progressed very far.
Re: The Bar - 09/01.
"You got it!" she said, turning for the bottle with a particular flutter of her quite gorgeous, thank you, wings, so she could pour the whiskey (a little heavy handed, as always) and set it in front of Shane. "You're one of the newbs 'round here," she said with a grin, "right?"

Re: The Bar - 09/01.
Goose was a little out of his depth here so don’t mind him Summer as he tried not to look to much like a deer in the headlights, “it’s been ………………interesting,” he said slowly, even more slowly with the now added effect of dramatic pausing, “it seems like………..not much has changed from I what can tell. Only the …………….people, not that that’s been a bad thing,”
Somewhere Doc was feeling the sudden urge to facepalm.
Re: The Bar - 09/01.
This whole monosyllable thing (that was definitely not screwed up in the last ping, shush) made the conversation on her end a little vapid, but, hey, it was there!
She kind of wanted to just, you know, welcome him back, or something, but that was a little tricky.
Re: The Bar - 09/01.
"It is a .............long time." he agreed, "especially when I ...........didn't think I'd be back at all." there was a pause but it was intended this time, "I am glad ........to be back."
Re: The Bar - 09/01.
Yeah, yeah, yeah, boyfriend. Who cared? Definitely not Summer! She was a Bad Girl over here!
"Sooo..." she said, her voice dropping down a little to match her grin and adding her own pause for dramatic effect, "what did bring you back?"
Re: The Bar - 09/01.
“Mostly political and …………….nothing I can’t handle.” he added, “but ………… my commanding officer suggested making the return to Fandom for a while.”
Re: The Bar - 09/01.
She had literally no intention of actually helping, but the potential to lead him on into an inevitable betrayal at a crucial dramatic moment was ripe.
Re: The Bar - 09/01.
Re: The Bar - 09/01.
Re: The Bar - 09/01.
Although those were a big part of it, yes.
"Oh. My. God," she said, the words separated with particular emphasis instead of the usual rush as one polysyllabic word, and she turned a few times to model them off for the full effect at a few angles. "I know, riiiiight? I am
dyingso dead for this look!"Eventually, she'd get to the bartending thing, but there were still a few more angles Rey needed to appreciate first.
Re: The Bar - 09/01.
Re: The Bar - 09/01.
So don't mind her as she got some redbull and champagne ones from the tray, maybe a few Sriracha if Rey was feeling a bit spicy, and some vodka.
"Let's do this!"
Re: The Bar - 09/01.
Of course Rey was going to go straight for a sriracha one, and once it was gone she said, "Nice and spicy, just like me!"
Jesus.
Re: The Bar - 09/01.
She was totally going to say department there. But it just wouldn't come out, and, honestly? What did was more accurate, anyway.
Re: The Bar - 09/01.
Re: The Bar - 09/01.
"You've got wings," he said, blinking a few times at Summer before getting off the board and onto a stool.
"And only frightening sounding jello."
Re: The Bar - 09/01.
"And you," Summer noted, eyes wide and impressed, because, ohmygod, Stark, like, so cool!, "have a board!
"But you should totes try the hot one," she added. "Rey said it's her fave," well not exactly, "'cuz it's totes hot like she is."
Just try to deny it, Stark, she dared you!
Re: The Bar - 09/01.
"Rey liked the hot one? That doesn't sound like Rey." Trying the jello shots in general didn't sound like Rey.
Re: The Bar - 09/01.
"Sooooo," her look went expectant, "want to try it?"
Re: The Bar - 09/01.
"I was a plant this morning. When I woke up." A lovely potted bird of paradise!
Re: The Bar - 09/01.
He stopped dead when he saw the wings, though. Was something going on? They didn't look as wrong as he'd expect something from the Spiral or the Flesh to look, but they certainly hadn't been there before.
He approached warily. "Summer. Are you...all right?" She hadn't seemed to mind actual questions before, even when he'd compelled her, so it was probably okay to ask.
Re: The Bar - 09/01.
Re: The Bar - 09/01.
Eventually Jon might realize he hardly had to bother compelling Summer, but he was nervous, and today was not that day.
Re: The Bar - 09/01.
Re: The Bar - 09/01.
At least it didn't seem to be caused by the Fears, which was...mostly reassuring.
"Well, I...I hope you enjoy them while you have them, then," he offered. "They're very...pink?"
The Lounge - 09/01.
There is, admittedly, more room to stretch one's wings over here.

Re: The Lounge - 09/01.
Which game? Who knew, but it was big and Cade was very excited about it between shilling for Blue Apron, Casper mattresses and Portalocity.
"Thanks for all of that info on the new hazy IPAs, Tino," Cade said, scratching idly at his arm, which despite being super soft was also weirdly, constantly itchy. "We'll be sure to stock up in time for the Big Game!"
Was Cade a terrible podcaster? Yuuuup.
The Back Room - 09/01.
OOC - 09/01.
Repeating here that Amazon is a crap company to work for and I may have the desire but not the will to juggle both work and this at the moment, but, gosh darn it, I'm gonna try. XD
