Fandom Trooper Station, Wednesday

Well, it was another Wednesday and another day of... listening to the Bee Lady. Which was as close to normal as this place really ever got.

"No, ma'am, we can't just arrest the raccoons for 'looking shifty' in your yard," Danny sighed, rubbing his forehead as he moved the phone from one ear to the other as this just stretched out. "Yes, I'm sure."

Next time he was making one of the troopers answer.

"They aren't selling donuts, right?"

Not all racoons, Steve.

"They're 'menacing' her," Danny said once he hit the mute button.

"With their little beady eyes?" Steve guessed.

[hatesparadise]

"And their little hands too," Danny agreed, lifting his coffee cup in a little toast.

"Yuck," Steve said, making a face.

[hatesparadise]

"I'm going to transfer you to someone who can assist with that," Danny said into the phone, transferring her before she could get a word in. Then sighed heavily.

"What did we do do deserve this?"

"Maybe the guy in the car wash?" Steve offered.

[hatesparadise]

"That was you, not me." Enjoy being blamed, Steve. Enjoy it.

"Yeah, but you didn't stop me," Steve said.

[hatesparadise]

"Oh, so now I'm being punished for not stopping you?" Rude and unfair!

"Don't you yell that at me every time we're in a car chase?"

Steve had tuned him out, so...

"I do indeed," Danny agreed. "Which you tune out, I think."

"Of course I don't," Steve blatantly lied.

[hatesparadise]

"Uh huh." He didn't believe that at all, Steve. "You want to get me a donut while you lie?"

"I don't need a donut," Steve said, sliding into his chair with a grin.

[hatesparadise]

"No, you don't." But Danny did.

[grenadesandohana]

"Go get yourself a donut, Danno," Steve said, laughing.

[hatesparadise]

"Yeah, but you're here now." Guys, not in front of the troopers.

[grenadesandohana]

"I am not a donut," Steve said, laughing.

They were, sadly, exactly the same as they were before.

"You are not a donut. But you can provide me with one like a good coworker," Danny replied

[grenadesandohana]

"Aww, did you break your legs since this morning?" Steve asked.

[hatesparadise]

"You know what? Maybe I did," Dammy replied brightly.

[grenadesandohana]

"Was it a raccoon?" Steve asked.

[hatesparadise]

"I was viciously assaulted by a raccoon," Danny agreed. "So. A donut, please?"

"One donut because of the raccoon trauma," Steve said, snickering.
