Maybe it was just because Astrid had to go to work after a morning class after a vacation, but it didn't take long, walking into the store to do all her inventory and orders for the week, that she wondered if maybe half the reason Summer left for space was just to get out of having to deal with Apu-on-a-Monday.
Which wasn't much different than Apu on any other day, but this particular Monday seemed to involve filling the store with a bunch of different chairs, most of them thankfully on wheels, and constantly moving them around to different positions.
Most of those positions just so happened to be directly in Astrid's path, which she could only assume was absolutely intentional, despite his playing innocent about it.
She definitely didn't have the energy to explain that he was probably misinterpreting International Adjust Your Chair Day significantly, especially since she felt she was way behind on Halloween stuff for the store, and then Thanksgiving would be here before she knew it, and, actually? Maybe just being a starving artist was more preferable than dealing with the special brand of retail hell that was end-of-the-year holidays.
