Things were pretty quiet at the shelter that day, but they'd gotten in a few new puppies, two cats, a pair of turtle doves, and a small school of fish over the weekend, so Sakaki took the initiative to get them all entered in and registered into the computer that morning.

Which seemed like a easy enough task, but the thing about the computer at the shelter was that, apparently, someone (perhaps a former employee?) had rigged it up so that, every fifteen minutes or so, there was a little alarm that went off and a video popped up with a message that read "YOU'VE BEEN WORKING SO HARD! HAVE AN ADORABLE ANIMAL VIDEO TO REWARD YOUR HARD WORK!"

Sakaki obviously had no idea who had put this on the computer, all she knew was that she herself was definitely not tech-savvy enough to get rid of it, nor did she think she'd actually want to...

She was starting to see how registering new animals could wind up being an all-day task after all!
