Diaz & Ass.; Wednesday [11/17].
So Rosa had gone ahead and accepted the undercover infiltration job that would require her to be away for an indeterminant amount of time, and she'd be heading up to New York for it later that evening, but, today, she was getting just a few things in order (and fighting off a pretty solid hangover, so good work last night, Kitty): automated away messages for anyone trying to contact her via the business, double checking all of her paperwork so that she didn't run into any unexpected hiccups in her latest and greatest alias, and also....
...reading a Bible?
Look, it has been a long time since Rosa was in Catholic school, and if she was going to try and pass herself as postulant with aspirations to be a nun at this convent, she was going to need to do some brushing up.
Diaz & Ass. is open!
[[ and, yes, I'm giving Rosa whole ass mission based on a three-second sight gag from the last season, because how could I not??? SHE GETS A SPOT IN THE CHOIR! ]]

Still believing in trying to be neighborly, Dwight had gotten out the large travel thermos and was now hesitating for a brief moment outside the office next door. Taking a deep breath and preparing himself, he stepped inside.
"Morning neighbor" Dwight said with a slight grin as he waited for the inevitable reaction.

Hilarious. Really.
So, sighing, already sort of in 'pretending to be a much better person than she really was' mode, she looked back at Dwight and also reminded herself that this was Tightpants' friends. She didn't know about loving thy neighbor in this case, but she could at least make an effort to be somewhat civil toward him.
"...morning," she responded, and then waited, because, look, that was a lot of give from her, she'd done enough work to get to that point, there was no way she was going to bother with also carrying the conversation.

Cuz come on Rosa, ya gotta give the guy some credit for trying to be a good neighbor. This was Fandom after all, never know when some crisis would hit and that was not really the time to try and get past initial introductions and all. He was trying here.

Rosa met this explanation with the required suspicion, though there may have been a snort in the somewhere with regards to a certain superhero's sleeping habits.
"What?" she then asked, with a challenging quirk of her eyebrow. What? Did you think she was going to go easy on you because you brought coffee? "You don't think we can caffeinate ourselves?"
Especially since she was pretty sure if you cut Tightpants, he'd bleed brew, not blood.

Did Dwight really expect anything other than a typical glare reaction from Rosa? Nawww, not really. But there was always that off chance and so he lifted the thermos with the slightest hint of a smirk.
"Can always just send sleepy-head back over to return it later" he offered.
See, he was giving you an easy out, Rosa. You just had to get through one conversation and you would be good to go!

"Sounds like a plan," she said, quirking her chin up in direction. "You can leave it there on the table by the door."
no subject
"He always sleeping in this late?" he asked, lifting his chin a bit.
Was he pushing his luck with more conversation? Yes, yes he was. But Dwight was feeling a bit adventurous this morning.... though that would probably change pretty quickly.

Not quite so willing to let someone else's stubborness beat out her own, especially when that stubborness was the nice and friendly kind, Rosa just looked at Dwight for a moment and merely shrugged her shoulders, like, sure, she slept with the guy, but how was she supposed to know his personal business like that?
