Fix&Clean Shop- Thursday Morning
Dwight was normally a fairly patient guy. He was used to waiting for things and even being told when and where he could have or do certain things, thanks to his military experience. But waiting for the call from Sakaki? Waiting to hear if the paperwork for the adoption had been approved? That had been a level of anticipation he had not known for some time! So, when the call had finally come in early that morning, Dwight had naturally been awake and wasted no time getting over to the shelter.
It had been ahandwavey busy morning already getting everything back to the apartment and getting things just right for the new pup, which now officially had the name of Snoopy. Downstairs in the shop, Dwight was setting up a small pen area in the corner of the shop, so Snoopy had a safe place to play and rest when he was down in the shop working. Because one thing had become crystal clear to Dwight almost as soon as he had gotten the bundle of furry energy home- Snoopy wanted to be a close to him as possible. While the pup was still excitedly sniffing around and exploring the entire workshop, including the small pile of sawdust, he would still run back to Dwight often, as if making sure he wasn’t going anywhere.

"That's new, right? I haven't just somehow missed the dog here all the time?"

Hey, he lived with Anna. He knew how dumb and enthusiastic dogs could get.

"Figured he has to get used to down here and up in the apartment. Don't want him being upstairs in a crate alone all day while I'm working down here," he said as he leaned over and put the pup in the small dog pen he had gotten set up.
Dwight glanced over his shoulder back to Miguel with a slight smirk. "Coffee is still there waiting for you same as usual." (Ya know, in case you were worried about being completely upstaged by an adorable little puppy.)

"Well, I guess we will see how it all plays out" Dwight said as he leaned against the counter, arms folded across his chest, as he watched them. "Pretty sure he will be worth any trouble he might get into."

Anna was sweet. Anna was also not the brightest thing around.
