So....today was turning out to be...kind of lot for Sakaki, who was mostly just glad that the vet didn't have any work or studying to catch up on for the day, because she wasn't sure she would be able to function very well.

For starters, it seemed that she had a new boss, which wouldn't be a particularly big deal except that her boss was a big deal, a very big deal, in fact, because he was none other than the very large sharkman who had come to talk to her about tank-cleaning that one time, who was very nice, so Sakaki felt bad about it, but she was honestly mildly terrified of the guy. It wasn't right, she knew, because wasn't that something she always worried about? Was the way she felt around Sidon the way cats felt around her? Where even though her intentions were so good and pure, they simply couldn't get over her looming side and strong presence? She didn't want to feel that way about Sidon-san, but he was just so...huge! And toothy! And a shark...

Sakaki trembled in a little in the knees just thinking about it, and tried to remind herself that he truly was very kind and sweet, if frightening, but she didn't have much chances to dwell on it for long, because the place was also overrun with tiny little horses, that seemed to just want to be fed, and she tried, but so many of the cats were terrorizing them and the puppies just wanted to play with them, and she couldn't even stop the cats because if he tried, the cats would terrorize her, and there was definitely a bandage box being quickly emptied out today, and then there were just moments where Sakaki saw one of the horses just prancing around and became utterly paralyzed by the cuteness, stuck in a swell over overwhelming squeeing.

The whole thing was just...it was a lot.
