Devil's Nest | Thursday Evening
Even if Annie had spent the first half of the week being run off her ass in New York (sorry, "being celebrated at a benefit"), it didn't mean she could exactly take a break from things when she was back in Fandom.
Apparently the island had other ideas, though. She'd have to think of an excuse as to why she wasn't picking up, since even as much slack as she could get, "my phone was only showing a burning log" seemed kind of...bad, as far as reasons to not answer an email or a text.
Oh well. Enforced break from Vought it was.

Or giggling at all, really.
"How 'bout that Christmas Margarita?" he asked, quirking his grin toward the specials board. "Any good? Or do you have a different speciality that you make that you'd recommend?"

At least she was aware of it. The simple solution of 'don't pour as much' was clearly still a struggle, but it was something.
"And if you want it blended, I can do a little show-offy trick." Because who didn't like drinks and a little show? (Especially since Annie was neither shirtless, nor wearing leather to compensate and/or participate.)

And then it whirred to life, with Annie's eyes gleaming yellow to match. "Look, Gladio, no hands!" she called, as dry as she could while also being heard over the blender.
Just as quickly as it had started up, it came to an immediate halt, Annie's eyes faded back to brown, and she gave a little, slightly-sheepish, "Ta da!" as she moved to pour the drink in a glass.
