Of course Laszlo vaguely recognized the song that had been playing everywhere, but of course, he also recognized it as his own turn-of-the-century creation, 'Song of the Bosom,' which was mostly an ode to various breasts and had zero things to do with Christmas.
But that was what he was singing to himself as he set out his sign tonight. "Hark, see the breasts, sweet, swollen breasts," and so on. You should all be glad that some people -- unlike Laszlo -- are simply too uncreative to write songs on the fly and thus there would be no additional lyrics featured in this narrative.

Laszlo was a very forgetful vampire, but some things stuck in one's brain.

"Hey, that's me!" he declared proudly as he reached the bar. "I'm the Disco Spider! ¡ La araña discoteca!"
Re: Bar | 12/16/21
Had he been sort of expecting an actual spider? Perhaps wearing platform shoes and carrying a mirrored ball? What of it if he had?
Re: Bar | 12/16/21
"Man, actually," Troy corrected him. "I just turned eighteen--" Nineteen, actually, but he didn't realize that, since his mom told him that everyone was ten for two years because fifth grade is hard, "--so I'm a human man now. And a Disco Spider. You can check the radio if you don't believe me."
Because if there was ever a true bastion of complete truth and irrefutable sources, it was a news broadcast written by drunken squirrels.
Re: Bar | 12/16/21
By Astrid? By Fandom itself? By his own assumptions because he didn't pay attention to anything? Who could say.
Re: Bar | 12/16/21
"Ohhhhhh," he said, nodding now as if a whole world of understanding had just been opened up before him. "I get it, you were expecting, like, an actual spider. No, man, that would be....spooky ting? This is more of a...it just sounded cool at the time kind of thing.
"It seemed to stick better," he added, "than Butt Soup."
Which now made him a little sad whenever he thought about it, because there was only one person that ever took off with and he still missed her sometimes, especially whenever he caught a faint whiff of shrimp...
