Fix&Clean Shop- Thursday Morning

 It had been an... interesting.... last few weeks that was for sure. And while Dwight was glad tings were back to somewhat normal on the island, it still really had been a lot. And it all had not really done much to help with the holiday mood.

Dwight was down in the shop trying to stay busy. even though there wasn't much of a spark of inspiration at that moment. So, if anyone came by to find him, they just might find Dwight on the floor of the shop, playing with an energetic and playful pup, and trying to ignore the annoying song that was playing from... somewhere... in the shop.

"Giving up already?" Miguel walked in and headed for the coffee pot.

[alwaysonguard]

"Oh well ya know... little guy's just so darn persuasive and all" Dwight said as he tossed the ball again for the pup and got to his feet.

"See, he's already taught you who's in charge," Miguel said. "Ask him for a raise."

What? Thins face wasnt payment enough?

"Will get right on that" Dwight said with a chuckle as he went to refill his cup.

Miguel filled up his own and then topped off Dwight's. "How's the training or whatever going?" Apart from house training, he wasn't sure what you needed to teach a dog, really. He wasn't about to assume Rosa's habits were a good gauge.

Dwight nodded thanks and leaned against the counter and he watched the pup for a moment and considered that question.

"It's going well. Still keeping to the basics but we're pretty good on the housetraining so that's good. Just working on other basics."

He turned towards the playful fur ball and bent down slightly. "Snoopy! Sit" he commanded. And stood there watching as the pup simply ran over to him, tail wagging non stop, the tennis ball he had been playing with still in his mouth.

"It's a work in progress" he said with a sigh and slight laugh.

"So I see." Miguel laughed. "Snoopy, sidit'?"

...hey, Anna only knew Russian! You never knew.

"Yeah... work in progress" Dwight said shaking his head as Snoopy gave a playful yap at Miguel. "May have to see if Furnado's or maybe someplace on the mainland, offers obedience classes. But ya know... after the holiday madness." Dwight took a drink of coffee as he muttered "ya know, no marshmallow snow, little elves, or annoying music getting in the way of things."
