Shunsui couldn't help but chuckle as he came in and saw that Summer-chan had already beaten him to the punch on his usual updates to her Newbie Week Specials sign, although she did leave off the all important addition of hearts, and so he took care of that before setting the sign back out, and then fluttering his way over to the counter to prepare for a nice day of drifting in and out of some good naps and good sips of sake.

Maybe with a few thoughts about poems for his class next week, and a few thought about maybe even getting back to working on that book of his that was now nearly a decade in the making.

You just couldn't rush good art, though!

Especially not when you couldn't help being distracted by the fact that there were definitely a lot of birds flying around the store today for some reason, which Shunsui didn't terribly mind, although he imagined it was going to be a bit tricky eventually trying to get them all out, and Canary-chan in particular seemed just a wee bit offended by their presence. He thought maybe it was because she didn't want to be kept away in her cage while they flew about, but he'd opened it for her and she firmly decided she was fine where she was, thank you.
