One thing about being now the official manager of the animal shelter that was not quite as simple and effortless for Sidon was a lot of the administrative work involved. Even in his time as a student, he didn't have much interaction with things like computers, so they were still a little awkward and unfamiliar for him. He supposed he always could delegate the tasks to the vet or Sakaki, but they had enough to deal with, and what sort of leader didn't take charge and do the things he should himself?

So if you ever wanted to spend a day just sort of boggling at a nine-foot-tall shark man hunched as best he could over a computer at a counter, tapping away at individual keys carefully with his claws, boy, were you in luck today!

Not to mention the waves of pride and accomplishment that came sweeping in every time he'd successfully sent an email or updated a file.

And, of course, this whole time, he was covered in a few intrepid cats that were brave enough to climb up on him and occasionally try to nibble on his headfins after sniffing him out and being confused as to whether or not this was food.
