Diaz & Ass.; Monday [01/10].
Once again, Rosa was down in the office, mainlining coffee and trying to stifle a few yawns, since she'd spent another Sunday night just getting caught up in watching movies, apparently for research purposes.
Only this time, instead of a Nancy Meyers marathon, it wa definitely a run through the entire AndroidPolice franchise. Yes. Even the TV shows.
For research.
Of course.
Were these two late-night research sessions even remotely related?
Maybe! She could definitely see some potential here....
Diaz & Ass is open!
[[ and I conclude my Monday morning spam with the Monday morning caveat of SP across the board for my pups because bleeaaarrrgggggh ]]

And now there he was, standing in the door as he glanced over to the desk.
"Surprised you are up this early, Diaz," he said as he walked in. "Had a bit of a late-night there with the movie marathon didn't ya?" he asked giving her a look.

And to think, here she thought she was being considerate.
Mildly considerate, anyway.
For now, though, she was just going to look over at What's-His-Face, to let him know that this complaint was duly noted and waiting to see if there was anything actually important he might like to add to it before she could just get back to enjoying her coffee in peace.
(Yes, she was aware of the irony. In fact, she was rather enjoying it).

MetaRoboCop as much as the next guy. But if I am going to be forced to listen to it at all hours of the night, I would rather be able to at least see it too!" Dwight said with a slight sigh.no subject
"What?" she asked, and, hey, look at that, he managed to get works this time, along with the usual quirk of her eyebrow and pointed sip of coffee. "Don't you have your own TV?"

He gave Rosa a glance and then a slight smirk. "Guess I should thank you though for not choosing something absolutely terrible."
no subject
But at least even this guy understood that AndroidPolice was amazing, unlike some tea-drinking psychopaths.
Rosa just shrugged. "I have good taste."
Which should be obvious.

And because really, it would be terrible to have to break down and like, actually ask the neighbors to borrow their copies for the weekend or something crazy like that.
"There really are far too few people who appreciate great cinema."
no subject
"Uh-huh," she said, oh-so-conversationally.

Now he was coming down with Death Wish coffee and a large reuben with homemade fries as a form of abject apology.
"Please tell me you're at least a little tired."
[Hey, I actually liked the TV show!]
no subject
But she wasn't going to let it. Especially not when someone asked a question like that!
"Tired is for old people and corpses," she stated.
While now staring down the coffee in an effort to keep herself from just making grabby hands at it.
[[ i've never seen it; I just merely assumed ]]

On second thought, maybe she'd still leap over the desk and try to tackle him just for suggesting it.
Or even just for fun.

Miguel smirked and stayed where he was.
But he did take a big slurp of the coffee.

"You're hilarious," she informed him, then promptly held out a hand (non-grabby) for the coffee.
no subject
Miguel grinned and handed it over. "Did you finish the whole thing last night?"
no subject
"What do I look like? A quitter?" said Rosa.
To the man who definitely quit.

"Knew you had it in you. One of these days I should get you some feeds from back home, let you critique the cybercop losers in the Public Eye. They're not nearly as fun, but you might get some good laughs."
