Well, Apu-san certainly was in quite the mood when Shunsui came in, and, as was becoming the habit of nearly everyone else who worked there by now, it didn't take Shunsui long to do a little mild investigation on that wonderful thing called google to try and suss out exactly why.
He merely typed in the date, added the word holiday, and did a search, and then, after a moment, and a few questions, he'd figured it out, and, really, it did not take being a tactical genius to do so.
"I daresay," he murmured, quirking an eyebrow at Apu until finally he just let out a laugh, "I'd be avoiding your calls and not answering your texts, too, Apu-san, if I were Summer-chan and just found out that it was apparently International Kiss a Ginger Day, too ♥."
Apu, of course, groused and complained and insisted that that wasn't it at all and then firmly made a point that perhaps Shunsui should have scrolled down a little more and take heed of the fact that it was also Work Harder Day and get on that instead.
But again, Shunsui could only chuckle.
"That's just the thing, isn't it, Apu-san ♥?" he chirped. "When you hardly work at all, even the smallest task can be considered working harder ♥."
And, to prove it, he took a moment to swept over to a shipment of canned soup they'd received, opened it up to pluck out one can and daintily set it on a shelf.
"See? I'm already celebrating in spades ♥!"
Apu just gave him a withering look as he pushed past to pick the can back up and march it to where it actually went, and a very amused Shunsui drifted back to the counter, where he settled in...and maybe sent off a text of his own that inevitably came back with the expected response of OMG NOT YOU TOO! This is seriously like textbook workplace harrassment u guys i swear to god
