Class has been thankfully held indoors that morning where it was warmer. But it had still been... interesting to say the least. Afterward, Dwight had spent most of the day in the shop. And with all his adulting responsibilities for the day done, he walked in and took a seat at the bar.

"Been a while" he said with a nod to Lucifer. "Enjoy that trip to whatever exotic place you headed off to this time?"

“Norway,” Lucifer said merrily, as he shook the cocktail shaker in his hands a few more times. “And it was absolutely perfect in almost every way.”

Bar the screaming argument about sweaters, but, well, for their standards, they’d been remarkably good at avoiding conflict.

"Sounds like a great get away, albeit a bit cold" Dwight said with a nod. "But glad it was all good for you and your crew. How's it feel being back? I must say you lucked out on missing the worse of the Advent shenanigans."

“Did we?” Lucifer said, frowning. “I suppose there were still a few days left until Christmas… what, did the pipes start spewing liquid chocolate?”

"It was just lot at the end after everything else with the time loop and all that insanity," Dwight said with a sigh still feeling odd thinking about what all had happened.

“But it wasn’t a time loop, was it?” Lucifer pointed out, emptying the shaker into a glass. “And you clearly survived.”

"I think repeating the same day over and over constitutes a time loop, however temporary it might be" Dwight noted. "And yes thankfully everyone who was shot or killed managed to survive. Pretty low bar, but seems to be the norm around here most times."

“Oh, no, I thought you said the Advent madness came after the time loop,” Lucifer clarified. “I was there for that. It was a bit of nonsense, but on the bright side, we never ran out of whiskey, so it worked out.”
