Turtle & Canary; Friday [01/28].

When Astrid came into work that day, she had to stop for a moment, backtrack out the door, and double-check the sign to make sure she'd wound up at the right workplace, because she wouldn't put it past Fandom to have her wind up at Covent Garden even though she was headed to Turtle & Canary, but, no, it was definitely the right place for her Friday shift, it was just that the entire store seemed to be all but overflowing with daisies everywhere.

She vaguely wondered if Covent Garden was having a similiar influx of that particular flower as well, but since she was pretty sure Apu was behind this one, she doubted it. Still, she liked her Covent job because of all the flowers, so she definitely wasn't going to complain about being surrounded by them on a Friday, either, and was going to spend most of her time making crowns out of them. One for herself, one for Apu, one for the cheese panda. Even little ones for Turtle and Canary themselves, although the latter didn't seem too keep on keeping it on her little canary head. And then others for customers if they came in and were willing, because why not?

Apu eventually just complained at her for wasting her time on them when there were all these petals on the floor now that needed to be swept up, but she had no sympathy for his plight. He should have thought of that before bringing them all in in the first place.
