Since the vet had reported to Sidon that the cats had, in fact, seemed to have taken his speech to heart and gave poor Sakaki her space and did not attack her this week, he had quite the treat planned for them and spent a good portion of the week constructing what he felt was the most magnificent connected set of cat towers and cat trees the world had ever seen, and, quite frankly, he thought it was quite a shame that they hadn't thought of this before, because now the cats had a rather impressive network of platforms and beams by which they could make their entire way around the place, and, already, they seemed to be enjoying it quite a bit, and so Sidon very proudly watched them move about or laze about or whatever else caught their cat-fancy as the day went on.

Of course, once the cats started to use this elaborate network to figure out how to start dipping their paws into some of the fishtanks and try to get the drop on both their giant mysterious eventual food source and the Monday Nemesis, he might start to have second thoughts.

But for now? This was spectacular!
