Having worked with Apu-san for as long as he had, Shunsui had definitely been exposed to a great many strange and bewildering sorts of celebrations, and while he certainly did support celebrations of all kinds (assuming, of course, that the celebration of them didn't involve anything too taxing, effort-wise), he had to admit, this one was probably one of the most absurd of them all.

"So, let me see if I have this right," he said, frowning a little as Apu tried to explain. "Everyone gathers around together and waits for a...groundhog, which is basically just a larger gopher, to come out of a hole, and whether or not it sees its shadow determines if there will be more winter or not?"

Apu, who was obviously wearing a nice groundhog hat just shook his head and was too busy marveling over the fact that, after all this time, Shunsui still apparently didn't know about Groundhog's Day, but, in Shunsui's defense, none of this seemed into involve a whole lot of drinking or beautiful women, so what did Apu expect? Personally, if he was that groundhog, he'd use it as a good excuse to just sleep in for the day, and then everyone's happy.
