Furnado Animal Shelter; Thursday [02/03].
The puppies were seemingly having a very lazy day today, and, though Sidon was tempted to just let them have that and lay about, he also felt as though it was such a waste of a day! And so, with a few of the cats rallying behind him, he set to the task of encouraging the puppies to seize the day and rile themselves up and to have a bit of a fun and exciting puppy race!
The puppies were not, at first, very convinced. In fact, most of them completely ignored him at the beginning. But Sidon was not to be deterred! "You can do it, puppies!" he told them. "Let's go! Let's get up and enjoy the day! I believe in you! Let's go!"
Slowly, a few of them started to shake themselves awake, taking a long time to stretch and yawn. "That's the spirit!" Sidon enthused. "Fight against that sleep! Show it who's boss! Let's really show the sway of slumber what energetic and fiesty pups you are!"
One of the puppies let out a big, appreciative bark at the encouragement, and Sidon had to laugh. "Yes! That's it! Everybody up! You can do it!"
Unable to fight the spell of such cheerful enthusiasm, most of the dogs were up and prancing around and wrestling and racing before too long, although there were still a few holdouts that stubbornly kept to their nap. But that was fine! Sidon was pleased to at least get a few of them going, and they were all having such a grand time that he figured the others would eventually come around too.
