Covent Garden Flowers; Wednesday [02/09].
Of course Astrid expected it would be busy at the flower shop that day. It was less than a week until Valentine's Day, and despite there being the whole flower thing that the school did, she'd been here long enough to know that there was usually an exorbitant amount of orders from other places that came through this bizarro little flower shop before the major floral holidays that just could not be explained.
What she didn't expect, though, was that the flowers themselves....seemed to be helping? By arranging themselves and each other to make any work on Astrid's part much, much easier, which was...honestly really nice of them.
And gave her more time to cynically include poisonous flowers like oleanders into all the arrangements.
What? It was tradition, at this point.
Covent Garden is open!

"Good morning, Astrid," he said with a smile as he walked in, making sure to knock off as much snow from his boots as he could before walking in.

What was the worst that could happen? Lucille fires her when she was leaving in a few months anyway?
But for now, she just sort of sighed a little and put on her best customer service smile. "Hi, Mr. Hendrickson," she said. "Did you need any help finding something today?"

"Was wondering if you had any snapdragons. Actual plants, not cut flowers" he clarified. "Looking for something special for a.... a friend.... and I believe snapdragons are one of her favorites."

Hey. Astrid wasn't going judge or say anything. She was going to frown a little in thought, though, as she considered, trying to think of the last time she saw snapdragons.
"Um," she admitted, "I'm not sure, actually, but I can go and check. If we don't we can order them, but I'm not sure they'll be in by Monday..."

"Give me a moment, then," she said. "I'll go have a look."
As she went deeper into the store, she started to wonder if the other flowers really were guiding her in the right direction, or if it just felt that way because she wanted it to be true, but after a long while, she returned back to the counter with a few potted snapdragons of various colors in her arms.
"Looks like you're in luck," she said. "I found a fee of them them all tucked away near the back."

Always had to push the postcards, since that was money straight into her own pocket.
