Rey's warehouse- Friday afternoon

Rey was back in the warehouse today, and she'd been distracted enough with everything that it had completely slipped her mind that the course had been revamped while she was gone. Which meant it was the best surprise to walk into.

She first walked along the course to try and spot the differences, which was a little harder since it was higher now. She should probably wait for Anakin to see if there were any warnings... orrrr she could just start Abd see what happened...

Anakin was a few minutes earlier than normal because he was very excited to see Rey's reaction to the new set-up.

He jogged into the warehouse. "Rey?"

"You changed it!" she said, turning around.

This was the happiest she'd been in like two weeks.

"I changed it," he confirmed, beaming back.

[thatwaslucky]

"Is there anything I should know? Wait. Don't tell me. Unless I really need it."

Very helpful, Rey.

"I got the anti-grav to work."

That was probably a good thing to warn about.

He grinned proudly. "I can control by area, too, not just the entire room."

"Amazing. So the course is gravity-less if you want it to be?"

What was that even like! So exciting!

Anakin grinned, nodding. "Juliet refused to come down from the ceiling for an hour."

[thatwaslucky]

"You can refuse to come down?" Rey asked, smiling.

[sith_happened]

"Well, for a while," Anakin said. "Eventually I'll drop you."

[thatwaslucky]

"Of course." How dare. "So if you're on the ceiling, how do you actually run the course?"

"You can't," Anakin admitted with a rueful smile. "That's when I was tweaking the controls."

[thatwaslucky]

"So the course is harder but you're not floating like a balloon, got it."

Unless Anakin decided he was funny.

He would make her float like a balloon at least once.

"Exactly," he said, smiling. "Want to try it out?"

[thatwaslucky]

She was already heading over. "Yes turn it on."

[sith_happened]

"Here we go," Anakin said, walking over to the control panel and flipping a few switches.

Fake leaves in parts of the course began waving in a breeze that hadn't been there a second ago.

Rey got to the start of the course, and paused before she got too far, testing what might be happening.

Last thing she wanted was to get thrown into a ceiling or whatever when she wasn't expecting it.

Anakin was pretty sure he'd gotten the kinks out of that, but Juliet was a little bit lighter than Rey.

The first part was set at gravity-and-a-half anyway because he was kind of a bastard.

And Rey was not expecting that, suddenly off the ground more than she'd expected.

"Have you run this?" she called. Of course he had.

Anakin grinned. "Four times," he admitted. "With and without the remotes."

[thatwaslucky]

"...Showoff," she muttered, and then asked, "How?"

[sith_happened]

"Climb," Anakin said, pointing to the hidden handholds.

[thatwaslucky]

The wall was covered in vines and things now, but Rey could make out the handholds, and so she started from there and started making her way up. So not only was it harder with the gravity on, but it was fun trying to keep her feet from getting tangled.

But it was slowing her down for now, so Anakin was pleased!

"You're doing fine."

She was still going pretty fast, considering, but vines were not something she was used to dealing with here. And her arms were going to be killing her later. And when she did get to the top, she had to take a second.

Just a second.

Anakin smiled. "You've got this."
