Would you look at that? Shunsui Kyōraku had actually stumbled into Turtle & Canary at a reasonable hour that morning. Sure, it had literally everything to do with the fact that all of the sake bottles in his apartment seemed to have been replaced with mizu bottles, and he wasn't sure if it was reassuring or more upsetting to come into the shop and find that the entire liquor section here at the store also seemed to be a wash...
Fine. This was fine. Nothing to worry about here.
Certainly not a suddenly surly and irritated Shinigami settling behind the counter with a nice jug of water and thinking this might be a good time to drop back in on the Seireitei for a few days, wondering if Rangiku-chan and Shūhei had any particular plans that could be conveniently set aside to make up for lost drinking....
