The Perk, Thursday morning

Miguel looked around warily as he approached the barista, as if something might be lurking. Then he eyed her. "Your coffee isn't green today, is it?"

After being assured that it wasn't (unless he wanted a matcha latte? no he did not), he got a large cappuccino (hey, variety!) and a cinnamon roll and sat down to enjoy them.

With his back to the wall.

And no, he was not wearing green. His shirt was, in fact, red. (He'd debated orange, but decided he wasn't quite that committed.)

Look, when your name was O'Hara, you kind of grew up hating the holiday even if you didn't hate the man who gave it to you. Or maybe that was just him and too many pranks when he'd been in school.

"We going for the big jolt of coffee today huh?" Dwight said as he made his way in and walked up to the counter, nodding towards the cup in front of Miguel. "And I had a pot of coffee going early this morning and everything....and you reject my gift of COFFEE by coming here!?"

He gave the barista a wink and she tried to hide a snicker behind her hand. Dwight couldn't keep it up and broke into a grin and chuckle as he looked at Miguel.

"So, how are you handling this very green holiday?"

Miguel gave Dwight a decided side-eye, which was probably lost under his glasses. Hopefully the rest of his face got it across.

"Wanted something different. You make cappuccinos? And I'm trying to pretend that it doesn't exist."

"I'm sure my ego will recover" Dwight said with a laugh as he took his own monstrosity of a drink and made his way over to where Miguel sat.

"And as tempting as the idea of adding a small espresso and cappuccino machine to the workshop sounds.... this place is just too good to pass up like that."

[what_the_shock]

Miguel snorted. "Leave the complex stuff to the professionals." Which didn't mean he wasn't giving Dwight's "coffee" a dubious look. "Is there any actual coffee in there?"

"Of course there is! Just because there's also a healthy dose of mocha powder and maybe a shot or two (or three) of chocolate sauce in there.... of course there is still coffee and wonderful caffeine in here" Dwight said, proving just how so it was with a nice big sip.

"Hm. Whatever," Miguel decided. He kicked out a chair for Dwight. "Your sugary funeral."

"Hey, I can think of worst ways to go out" he said with a laugh as he sat down. "Other than ignoring the painfully obvious holiday, what you been up to?"
