In general, Summer felt it was a good idea to have a modicum of suspicion about anything randomly appearing in the bar, especially when Tino claimed to not have had anything to do with it or to know nothing about it, because that just made Summer think that he was definitely behind it. But this one seemed a little familar, as she squinted at the cake that seemed to have just appeared at the bar that night.

"Didn't this happen around the same time last year, too?" she then wondered outloud, after a few moments, feeling like this had definitely happened before.

But Tino just sort of shrugged and went back to shoveling another forkful of birthday cake into his mouth and Summer just rolled her eyes and thanked him for being oh so helpful, and then....got herself a slice to nibble on, too, while she got things ready for the day.

Prompto was definitely stoked to be back for more karaoke this week, and he definitely had another song ready to go to start him out with.

Mad props to the zombies on the bongo and the melodica on that one, too!

Liz was back with another Beatles song this week, eventually she would start looking to sing other songs but for now she was enjoying the Beatles theme with her karaoke choices and got up to sing her song.

She was feeling a lot more comfortable about it this week, even though she was still a bit nervous about getting up and singing.

Of course Prompto couldn't come out for karaoke and only do one song. So excuse him a moment while he broke out into something that seemed to suit his mood quite nicely, and he was feeling it tonight, you guys!

When Goose heard this song he had been listening to it on repeat and decided that he absolutely had to sing it for karaoke because yes he was going to get up there again.

So here he was with his third karaoke attempt and starting to sing.

It wasn’t that much better than last week’s effort but he was trying and he was still having fun, even if some of those lyrics were hitting a little close to home for him.

Lucifer stepped up to the microphone with a flourish of his arm. He had promised Summer - or rather, himself - something French, something Belgian, something... Brel.

And so he provided, with all the appropriate theatrics.

Not that Prompto wanted to take up all the karaoke time, buuuut....since there were a few other people up there going, too, why not throw up another? He'd been wanting to seriously do <a href='https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pok8H_KF1FA">some Doja Cat</a> for a <i>long</i> time now, and it was long overdue. And he'd definitely had more than enough jello shots by now to make it happen.

"Oooooh," Prompto noted, grinning a little as he leaned on the bar with one leg popped slightly and shifting almost as if nervou, or maybe just filled with energy that had been building up all day for this, as he considered the specials board, "Orange-y!"

Yeah, Summer looked very impressed. Definitely.

"One benefit of getting too much of something at the store," she sighed a little, "is that it makes for a pretty easy theme for my shots the next day. What can I get you, Prompto? One of each?"

That was definitely the new standard, after all.

"So specials first, then probably cake, because if I've done my job right, that won't matter as much by then."

“So I’ve found more songs to sing,” Goose announced as he came up to the bar that evening.

Admittedly it was only one artist but he had discovered Bon Jovi and had been playing it quite a bit lately but it was a start for him, he was finally starting to expand his pop culture knowledge.

Which made Summer wonder if it was Tino's birthday and he was being low-key passive aggressive about it, but then she decided that she didn't care.
