Oh, Summer had definitely relied on the Jello Shot maker today. Seriously, who had the time? Everyone was just lucky she even bothered to show up for her shift that week and didn't just leave you all to suffer, jello-shot-less and with Tino!

Well, actually, no, Summer knew it was a good thing to take a few breaks here and there, because she knew herself, and, if left to her own devices for too long, there was a good chance things would start to get...real weird, to the point where it mmight lead certain boyfriends to start questioning the entirity of the past year and a half, and she didn't need to cross those bridges if she didn't have to.

So coming to the bar would be a nice break, where you'd better believe she was going to channel a lot of this energy into making sure anyone who did show up didn't stick around for long if she could help it (and preferrably not leaving alone, either!), so she could ditch Tino with the last remaining straggler without feeling too bad about it.

Actually, she wouldn't have felt bad about it either way, but she'd at least feel better about it?

Anyway, she was here. There were shots. They weren't fancy because they were mass-produced for efficinciency, but, hey, come on. What more did you want from her this week?

Yang considered it for a moment. "He was one of my best friends when I was a student," she said slowly. "If it wouldn't be weird afterwards, I'd be down."

"But I don't really want to lose the few friends I've got, you know? And I'm definitely not looking for anything serious."

Her 'love' life was enough of a mess, thanks.

Summer nodded with understanding, lifting a hand. "Just as a base for comparison," she said. "I'm pretty sure he's currently really the only viable obvious-non-human around at the moment, but hey, you never know what might walk through that door."

Beaker could walk through that door.

"Yeah, no, my world has lots of sentient persons with animalistic traits, to the point they're considered their own species. Sidon wouldn't even get a second glance there, except to admire how ripped he is."

Wait, that part was out-loud, and Yang had to go for another shot to distract herself from that thought.
