Eric Northman, Head Warehouse Guy or Whatever, stripped out of his wet shirt because of that freak rainstorm and unlocked the door to the Amazon warehouse. (He could be outside because he was just a regular hot guy now, okay. Don't like, don't read, DON'T SEND ME MEAN COMMENTS.)

He clocked in because he needed every cent of his paycheck to pay his rent and for food and hair products and stuff and then turned on all the lights, fired up the coffee machine in the employee coffee shop that was like Starbucks but not as exploitative to workers and started on today's orders of, like, toilet paper and sex toys and things people buy from Amazon.

"Oh, how I wish I could find someone to love while working in these horrible conditions!" he sighed out loud like people do.

Obviously, Summer was here to work her shift, although some might argue that 'work' seemed a pretty loose term for it. She couldn't help it, though, she had totally made plans to hang out with her GIRLFRIEND Aphra the moment she got off the clock, and she was really hoping whatever it was involved, like, space tombs or some shit, because obviously that what they did together on dates and had been for the very long and detailed duration of their relationship.

Viking...fans were kind of dreamy, really, especially that accent. And even though Summer was totally dating Tisarwat, she still had functioning eyes, thank you.

So excuse the momentary wistful sigh before she smiled and said, "Hi, Eric. I mean, boss. I mean, whatever. Seems like it's not too bad today, but you know how it is, that could all change at the blink of an eye."

Something about that line in particular was not at all giving anyone who wrote it twitches about realizing she was roleplaying her own workday on her day off or anything, nooooo.
