Rey's warehouse- Friday afternoon
Aside from visions that Try was trying to blame on weirdness, she'd had a fairly normal couple days. Well, also aside from finding out how many people was shipped with in fics, but she was repressing that. But still. Fairly normal time of it.
Till she got to the warehouse and found that the woodchucks had been replaced by shirtless NPCs.
...Yeah okay.

At least he wasn't being needlessly dramatic...

At least he didn't think he was a barista, which was... better...?

Or find love. Possibly both!

Does it have to be a latte? Can you make a decent black coffee?

Pumpkin spice lattes were like, exotic to her, even when she got them to go.

Then started typing again. Abd stopped.
This went on a few times before she sent ????

Could you hear the whining from here, Rey?

And then she sent a link to a YouTube tutorial on making lattes.

shirtless NPCsthat compelled her so powerfully to swing by and check in on Rey and her warehouse and her training that dayshirtless NPCs, but there she was, knocking on the door because she definitely didn't do this enough to know if it was just cool to waltz right in."Reeeeeeeeeey~!!" she called out through the door. "Are you iiiiiin there?"

With your shirtless NPCs.
Maybe Summer was even DATING some of them!
no subject
The course was ridiculous. Of course.
no subject
"Whoa."
Her eyes swiveled toward Rey, wide and impressed and a little betrayed as she asked, "Is this what you do for your training these days?"
She clearly needed to visit Rey during her training more!

But a second later, she blinked and gushed out, hand over her mouth in shock, "Ohmygod, please don't tell Stark I said that!

"Oh!" Summer realized. "That guy!" Then she frowned, shaking her head. "Yeah, no, we broke up ages ago."
Right around the time the actor went on hiatus. Or maybe they hadn't renewed his contract? Or maybe he went to jail or rehab or something, but, either way, clearly just having him being written off-screen was a complete waste of romantic potential for Summer, and someone was definitely compensating for it.
Her expression lifted, though, into a soft and moony smile. "I'm with Stark now." Or at least she would be for the duration of this conversation. "I thought you knew? It was after Faye left and we had that sangria night, and things got...well...a little personal...if you know what I mean."
Summer's grin and waggling eyebrows should help if you didn't, Rey!
no subject
Especially since then Summer would have been expected to share at their sangria night like a week later.

That did sound like a pretty big gap in the details, didn't it?
"I could have sworn I told you," she said, almost a little warily. "Or at least that one of us would have mentioned it..."
There was another moment, thoughtful frown deepening, before an alarm on Summer's phone started to (oh so conveniently) go off.
"Oh, shit!" she realized. "I'm going to be late for work!"
no subject
Rey was going to need an update on all this stuff, Summer!
no subject
"Yeaaaah," she sighed, digging her phone out of her pocket to turn off the alarm and check her texts while she was at it. "Yeah, I'm at the coffee shop today. They're going to kill be for being late again."
no subject
No seriously. There would be a sangria night just to untangle stuff Rey believed now.

Not that Rey wasn't glad to see him, but she was a little concerned. She was still kneeling down to say hello and check him over though.
