Turtle & Canary; Monday [05/23].

Seeing the flyers Steph had put up for Pride just reminded Summer that she really needed to figure out what she was going to be doing for her ubiquitous contributions of the boozy gelatinous kind. Not figuring out what she was going to do, mind you, but, rather, figuring out what not to do, because she had more than enough ideas, a ridiculous amount, honestly, and so what she really needed to focus on was just culling those ideas and whittling it down to the best option and the direction she really wanted to take them.

Of course, she wouldn't be doing much refining of her plans today, because, apparently, if you asked Apu, World Turtle Day was synonymous with the turtle's birthday, and he had every intention of celebrating with gusto. So there were green streamers everywhere in the store today, as well as free turtle ice cream cake for any customers who would like a slice, and...admittedly Summer's absolutely favorite part about all of this and what definitely got her on board with this whole Turtle's birthday idea...the tiniest little green birthday hat for the birthday boy.

How could you not see a turtle wearing a birthday hat and not want to get in on that?

There were party hats for everyone else, too, and noise makers, and an extra 10% off for anyone who wished the turtle a happy birthday.
